JKU Centre of Excellence "Markets and Economic Policy"
The Department of Economics is striving to maintain its key research position within the Johannes Kepler University.
The Department's research is organised in a Centre of Excellence, "Markets and Economic Policy", which is defined in the JKU's research strategy.
The research of the faculty of the social sciences is organised in a similar manner.
In accordance with the implementation of the University's research strategy, the Department of Economics has developed a detailed outline for this Centre of Excellence. This outline starts with a documentation of the status quo and describes how the Department's competence and expertise shall be used according to the University's research strategy and how this competence may be improved further. Documents which describe the Centre of Excellence are listed below. These documents are meant as an input for the initial evaluation of the Centre, as stipulated in the guidelines of the University.
The detailed description of the Centre is in English to allow for an external review.
