Bachelor Thesis

General Information

• The Bachelor thesis has to be original scientific work written within the framework of a seminar of one or more of the chosen modules. The topic of the bachelor's thesis can be based on a proposal by the teacher of the seminar or can be proposed by the student itself. It has to follow the structure of a scientific publication.

• The bachelor thesis is awarded with 6 ECTS, whereby the required amount of work has to meet this workload. A sufficient mark for the bachelor's thesis can only be awarded when the seminar forming the basis of the bachelor thesis, is completed with a sufficient mark. The evaluation of the bachelor thesis is independent of the evaluation of the seminar.

Economic Subjects 

• Students wishing to complete their studies Business and Economics (WIWI) with major "Economics", must complete their Bachelor's thesis within the framework of one of the economics modules.

• Students wishing to complete their studies Business and Economics WIWI with major "Management & Applied Economics", can completer their Bachelor thesis within the framework of either an economics module or a business module.
